This photograph of the Lena River Delta in Siberia was taken by a satellite. Although it looks different than the maps you've been looking at, can you tell which part is land and which part is water?
Maps do not always show countries or states or districts, sometimes they show models of classrooms, playgrounds, neighborhoods, amusement parks, grocery stores, or houses. There is probably a map of your school in your classroom, ask your teacher to see it!
